Phosphate Filter for Red & Hair Algae & Cyanobacteria

For cyanobacteria, Red and Hair algae. Removes up to 800 mg of phosphates within 48-hours without removing any essential trace elements. Contains no dangerous Alumina or Aluminum Oxide. Will not re-release phosphates into water. Quickly and safely removes both soluble and insoluble phosphates. Safe for Reefs. Two styles; PF100 should be used when phosphates have built up algae needed to be eradicated. Once algae is eradicated us the PF200 to maintain the aquarium. Recommended use: Every two to three months to remove accumulated phosphates.

Directions For Use
- Place 1 pad anywhere in filtration system. Fold into any shape. After 24-hours discard first pad and replace with second. Discard second pad after 48-hours. PF100 requires the use of Erythromycin Thiocayanate, which is supplied and should be added to the water in small amounts as directed. * See note
